An
area of importance is the fullness of life that we can help in providing
for children with developmental disorders, like autism, downs syndrome
etc. Applied Behavior Analysis is a specialized area of treatment
that has proved very helpful in teaching developmentally disabled
children and adults, daily living skills. We hope to start a pioneering
program using Applied Behavior Analysis to enable the lives of persons
with such problems. This envisages a day school for children with
developmental disorders that will hopefully begin by August 2004.

of Mental Health and Training that will impart academic and technical
skills in the field of Mental Health. We expect to develop this
into a premier institution that will meet the urgent mental health
needs of Kerala.

Out Patient Department in anticipation of a 40 bed facility to treat
persons with mental disorders.

Recreation can
be a meaningful and informal therapeutic tool. We need to develop
a place for providing such an experience to the residents.
